This thread went South awfully quickly.....I think you guys should all meet down at your local and sort this out man to man rather than hiding behind a key board

As you could probably work out by reading the posts these issues have been spoken about ( man to man ) not hiding behind a keyboard already.
Cheers Billy.

There is a big difference between talking about something and sorting something out.......if it was sorted out you wouldn't be doing it here. I will have to come and kite with you all one day at your local. You sound like a top bunch of blokes (Just the perception after reading this thread)

It would be way easier to just talk about the big Noah that hangs around this time of year

Mate,

The same happened to mine but in a different location on the handle.

The Guys at KP sorted it out right away, took it in and they swapped it over right away! back on the water straight away.

My Shinn Pinbot handle broke on my first run today, I have been gentle with it, and it was purchased new only 4 weeks ago. So I had to learn how to get the board on my feet, with no handle, in fairly big chop today . Apparently only dorks use handles, but I need all the help I can get . Of course, the awesome staff at Action Sports are going to sort it for me.....

Phone your dealer and get a replacement, shinn are aware of the issue, and hopefully they will revert back to the aluminium foam covered handle of old
If you need a handle then I'd wrap it with tape until this issue is resolved,

I've had shinns since the go, ist time I've ever seen an issue with any of their products,
Very surprised this has slipped through,
Wouldn't let it distract from what a great board shinn make , minus this handle

A reply from shinn is they've been disappointed in the quality of manufacture of handles, the 2016 will be a more robust design, also don't over tighten the screw as this has caused some of the fractures( but not all), any dramas with originals , contact your dealer for replacement,
