No buddy no yet. Been the most mind bending boring Farq of a two weeks. There's me supping on my 8 foot 10 wave SUP on flat FARQiNG water wondering what the hell I am doing! Been just falling in the water to vary up the boredom...sad.

But mate can you remind me again in a month or so.

One thing I will say though is the cat 14m is such a bloody nice kite. Been out with 3m extensions in some stupidly light winds on my skim, then a few times the wind has built to 15 and once to about 17/18 knots (where i could have easily been on my all time fav edge) and had no problem holding it down with a TT. Just so stable with such consistent power delivery. Looping this kite is so easy and I'm only using my normal 50cm bar. Like the C4 you know where the kite is at all times during a rotation. Nice interplay of power and apparent wind build up. Gives you heaps of confidence to try new stuff and perfect the old.

Been on a few waves though...if you call them that. Its no REO, but that's hard to beat ( my mate uses REO so spent a lot of time on them), but good enough for me. Went strapless once just for kicks and giggles as I do and it drifts nicely. But unlike the REO you gotta give it a bit of power to turn, it won't turn like the REO with slack lines. But nor should it, that's not part of its design profile.

I still maintain ozone should bring out the zephyr in smaller sizes for all us high aspect freakoids that don't want the the full blown race feel. We will see.

Got myself and 8m cat for winter. So will report on that to. Is a no brainer kite the cat ( compared to an edge of course) but with enough to excite even an intermediate rider like myself, in that I'm no Freestyler extraordinaire.

Talk soon man. My perfect combo so far..lol

Yes Eppo I have been waiting for your feedback for 14m in waves as well . I also have been thinking of changing from my 2013 rebels 6,8,11 to the Cat due to riding more on waves,Have your tryed new Rebels ,they are more stable and drift better than before But reading your feedback and Djdjo" i think i might change cheers jeff

thanks for the feedback , im guessing when you get to a 14 the wind is so light that you are always going to have a slight issue with slack lines and steering , this will happen with every kite but its so important in waves its not funny . so getting a kite that turns fast in light wind and can drift when you accelerating down a wave is fundamental as its the turning speed to get out of the crap when your in trouble . you know what you mean . still keen to know about the B6 14 but doesn't look like anyone has one, anyone ????.

True MC. Even in those moderate winds, the cat won't turn like a dedicated wave kite when lines are slack. But I prefer the constant pull myself on a wave as I ride mako TT's and only my normal surfboard (the one i surf on, a custom Murray Bourton quad) when too light or just to change it up.

There is always a compromise, can't get away from the laws of physics. Can tweak stuff within them though...lol.

14m on a SB in the surf....yeh I'd say whatever kite you use, there will be a compromise and a slight change of technique.
