sup guys
im 84kg, 6ft
i live inland so i kite on dams and sometimes lagoons when im on holiday
wind 15-25knts avg (not to much which is why i need abit of a bigger board apparently)
im a biginner (only really been out kiting properly a few times) and im basically just able to go up and down :)
my board at the moment is a 120cm cyclone (bought it a couple of years ago along with my kite) I think i only tried kiting once though till a couple of months ago.
Anyways my instructor told me my board is a piece of @$%* and its much to small/stiff for me etc. He would not even let me ride it lol
so
Im looking at the raptor pro 137X41 (just worried about it being slightly to big and also it only has two stance options 38,42cm not sure if that could be a problem...but that board looks AMAZING)
the other option is the bulldozer 135X41 (i hear its abit stiff for a beginner though :/ also not crazy about the graphics)
and lastly the north jaime pro 135X41 (iv never seen this board in person or ridden it so im not sure about the quality or anything)
any advice or input would be great
cheers
your board is way to small if you are looking at a new board the jamie pro is nice have ridden it and its nice but if you kite on dams all the time you might want to look at the north x-ride its so sweet on wind chop , i own a north select which is a jamie pro but in carbon as far as the crazy fly goes they are good but not that crash hot and have had a x-ride for 2 seasons
Crazy Flys are almost identical to Norths, but don't break as often. I would go the Crazy Fly and avoid the sheep mentality.
yup i think im going to be getting the raptor pro. there was another good review on the 2010 board in the latest IKSURFMAG.
also i had a question on the board and emailed crazyfly...I got very good feedback the following day which i think is great!
