Disclosure: have had plenty of delta design kit - kite, surf-kite, surfboards all paid for
My Comments:
firstly well done to marty (littlewood = delta designs) scoring the gig as designer, he has been around quite a whilw with surfboards, windsurfers, kite boards always willing to push the boundaries -
out of the "box" it looked the business, simple graphics, nice colouring, felt solid, .....not too heavy, not too light
i must admit i thought might be a bit narrow (17") but had nice deep concave thru the back half
straps and pads top shelf and very comfy if not a little awkward to fit and adjust
in the water
contacio, low/mid 20 kn , rebel 09 7m = sensational kite, see review on this elsewhere, but this session reinforced my views, never thought a 7 would have been enough but i hopped off where i went in after plenty of muking around in the surf and only a couple of offshore runs to get back up wind
oh the board, nearly forgot, well narrowness no issue at all, probably the opposite
couldnt say anything bad, cut thru the chop, turned hard toeside heelside gybes no cavitation or slippage, great in the waves, loose and fast, good aerials
got out buzzing
sometimes in life you know you are onto a good thing - just looks and feels right and instinct tells you so, (maybe your lover, car, last surfboard who knows) but got to say this was one of those moments when you think - fanatastic just what i was after
interesting to try at gnaraloo or similar but thats not til next year!
quad be worth a go too but after this i not sure its needed![]()
