My Comments:
Had my first ride on this kite in 12 to 14kts quite surprising how much pull this kite has, was able to go upwind jump and do a varitey of tricks no probs. The turning speed is awsome even in light winds and the bar pressure is also nice and light for riding one handed. Have been riding this kite all weekend in the surf on the sunny coast in winds up to 25kts no probs, the depower is very effective giving me a range from 12 to 25kts which has really impressed me. Was able to pull some pretty big jumps and the hang time and float is amazing which also gives you soft landings. Flysurfer have replaced the deflate zipper with two valcroe vents on the trailing edge of the kite which is very easy to get to and simple to use, also love the new infinitey bar which detangles the saftey line after doing backrolls and kite loops just give the bar a quick pull and everything resets its great. Looks like flysurfer have put alot more paneling in this kite making it a more rigid wing as well.
Bridles also seem to be shorter than the speed2 giving it a very flat profile...
All in all i have to say i'm very impressed with the speed3 flat water or surf this kite is awsome and if i had the choice of only one kite this would be it, having a massive wind range you don't really need any other kites...
Have to say thanks heaps to Jeff at Flysurfer Kites Qld (flysurfer.com.au)
for the excellent customer service and very competitive price's which i couldn't
find any where else. Jeff has also been riding these kite for years and knows alot
