What are you looking for in your kite? Its like asking for the perfect car when people don't know if you're looking for a sports car or a 4x4.
Fast turning? Then Rebel, Rev, Furia, Thruster
yeah i guess i said that wrong i wanna kno what kites people are riding that they think are the best and why..
09 havoc. smoothest kite iv ever flown in my life, super controlable even in dodgy conditions, rode a 8m 09 havoc in 32 + solid (10 min average readings) and it was extremely smooth and controllable in teh gusts.
Just bought a 08 North Rhino (14mtr heaps of muscle on me, LOL). I've only flown it 3 times and can say its the best kite i've ever owned. My last kites were the 07 Naish torches and the rhino ****s on them for what i need it for. Wave riding, Big boosts endless power and heaps of depower. These kites have snuck under the radar for most kiters out there. Don't buy a kite until you have demoed one, you will love it. These kites are especialy good for the larger guys out there.
Hope this helps sladey,

I think you should probably be asking what kite will suit your conditions and skill level, and whether you want to progress in wake, wave, freeride, freestyle ect.
Kites like the Rev, Bandit, switchblade, and many more are great value because they excel in all areas.
Plus you may prefer 5 line Vs 4 line. Pulleys Vs no pulleys. Onepump Vs slow pump???
You cant really go wrong with 08 gear. Its a 2nd hand buyer's paradise out there!! I just wish the 2nd hand gear was this good and cheap when I started kiting.
i recommend the airush vapor 2, one of the smoothest kites on the market. fast, responsive, light bar pressure- good unhooked riding, good looping...
09 flow will be an awesome option too.
if u are after value have a look at the blades, i personally like the beast a lot!
very stable ,lot of bottom end and good in unhooked riding.
