Mr kitepower can you give me some general wind ranges when you are nicely powered then lit on these 15m C4 ( 2011, 2012) on what boards at your 78kg. Appreciate it.

No worries Mr Eppo!
Last time myself and Matt used it we were on an Underground Stella LW, which is a fairly massive board 1.46x46 from memory, its the one with an asymetrical shape.
Wind was around 19/12 knots, at Dolls with small tide assist so maybe 12/13, there was another well known foil guy out on a 19M spleene who was walking back upwind but he had a smaller board and no fins.
The thing that made the C4 work was how fast it turned for such a big kite, it was easy to sine, and Matt has a good feel for how Ozones need to be flown.

So I'm looking for that 12 to 16 knot range for a kite. The zeph might be a tad too big. I have a mako king, not the best light wind board but no slouch. Then again i like to be lit nowadays. Reckon the 15m C4?

ATM I have one working kite and that's the 17 Zephyr, now I was timid thinking I would not take it out over 12 knots but I take it out to 16 knots and now game enough to take it out a little higher then that (that's pushing it tho), however in 11 knots with a 149 chopstick there's no going upwind even with my weight. Also taking in consideration that air density is much different in Broome then it is down south.
Thankfully the winds have been great in the last week or so since I got my Xenon board I have learnt toeside, good airs, pops, and back roles all in 2 days with a 17 zephyr while other more experience riders in similar weight were happy riding on 10s if not heavier.
Non the less I really like my 2010 zephyr ;)
And thanks to those advice given too

The 2012 15M C4 definitely works for a low wind option, for lighter riders with appropriate sized boards and skills. But, unless you are desperate to get a kite right now, wait until the Zephyr 3 comes out, in approx 3-4 weeks.
