I'm new to kiting and bought Cabs for their Safety features, quality build and Yes their Colour schemes. I Luv Bright colours.
Before I actually bought my Kites I had the Good Luck to actually met and chat to Pat Goodman the Kit Designer for Cabrinha (since 2001). I was very impressed with his knowledge and understanding of the Wind and how Kites perform in it. He is a very methodical and meticulous person, who's sole focus is on innovation, perfection and safety.
He told me "If your going to get into Kiting, Get lessons and understand the safety procedures for kiting. As **** can happen !"
So my decision on going with Cabrinha was made very easy for me. Regard Cabs being expensive in Ozz I agree they are, we get so Ripped off here. So I now buy my kites OS when I go on hols. I have found that the same kites are up to $400 - $740 AUD Cheaper in HK (XGame Surf shops in HK). Of course dependent on Kite size.
