Reviews, Thoughts?
Yep I got an 8m and 12m last week. Had a go on the 12m today in light winds around 14-15 knots. It's very quick and turns on a dime. Kitelooping this kite is very smooth and fast. I was mainly on my 5'8" celeritas and had a ball. I can't wait to get out in a few more knots and see how it goes when its really lit.
I didn't clock much time on the 2009 12m RPM so I won't offer a comparison other than it felt a little faster.
The new bar looks well designed and constructed but at the same time I'm still a big fan of the above the bar depower cleat.
Hi ruffryder61
Have been using this years 12 mtr now for at least 4 weeks probably longer, its very much like last years but with better bar , myself im bias i liked last years and i think this years is even better. It isnt particulailry powerful but if you fly it you can still get going in really light winds, as it can generate lots of apparent through movement, im 74kgs and on a down winder on a twin tip i can go in 12 knts perhaps less but when its windy i can still hold it in 27, 29 knts although at this end of the scale it may be more like survival .The main thing is with this kite, that in 15 to 25 it is so much fun, park it and it just sits there doesn't creep down or rush the window flick the wrist and it turns quickly and easily, ride at it down a wave and it just backs up or kite loop it to pull you out of the wave when you need it. Now this doesn't mean its the best kite in the world and that everyones going to love it, and this is only my opinion , but its definaetly one of my favorites.
Hope this helps
GEORGE
awesome all rounder kite Really good in the high end, nice smooth flying kites very predictable no surprises when it gets strong. At 70 kgs on the 12 it generates enough power to get going in some very light wind but still performs well up to around 25notts
sick new bar,way better than last years one,
Got a new 10 today cant wait to get her out next few days ![]()

just try them, they rock
I know a guy who had them and sold them. Not enough slack on the lines unhooked compared to real C kites according to him, making blind tricks and passes difficult. Haven't tried it myself.
But hey Youri Zoon seems to be doing okay on them
