has anyone tried out the slingshot joint bindings? I was thinking of moving over to boots as im finding my feet come out of my straps almost every time i unhook. I figure this would be a good alternative? would they hold your feet in a bit better than standard straps? and be easier to get in and out of than boots?

Hi Papy you will find that the joint bindings sit right in the middle between straps and boots - yes easier to get in and out of compared to boots and you can still kick out of them (albeit a little harder than a normal strap) they also don't allow for any side to side foot movement so do feel more "boot like" and give you a more solid connection to your board than a normal strap

Thanks board crazy. i just googled them and found some seabreeze reviews. probably should have just searched seabreeze first. From what i have found there are a lot of mixed opinions on these bindings so i think ill just have to try them myself to see if they suit. Thanks again.

Try the Liquid Force 'Cradles'. They are a super comfortable, slightly softer flex, light, kiting specific boot. Leave the the top strap undone and they are the best, most secure footstraps you'll have ever felt. Do all the straps up and they are the the most comfortable kite boots you'll ever want - unless you're some super duper, hardcore, back mob-ing, wakestyle throw down monster.
