Has anyone had a ride on this yet? Looks fantastic.
Love to know how it jumps... compared to the Vortex and Edge.. and Evo for that matter.
It's looking very pricy... I wonder if they plan to make a version using the martials (light weight dacron) used on the Reo Ultra X (I have one and love it) - as I would prefer this material as I do a lot of self-launches on sand.. and I've read Aluula doesn't stand up to this well - but my Reo Ultra X has handled this with minimal impact.
Any Ozone reps care to chime in?

I've got some coming and a 13M for myself to sit above the 11 Reo V7 UX in my quiver. There will be a 10M demo at KP as soon as they land.
Yeah really excited to get my hands on the Ultra X Enduro 13m to replace my V5 Enduro 13m standard construction, which is an amazingly good 13m kite in waves, so the Ultra X should be even better.
Custom colour option is now free from Ozone too. Ozone won't be releasing the Enduro in the HM Dacron anytime soon. I've found Aluula ok for self launching and landing on our sandy beaches, but I make sure not to let the kite slide much.
Aluula gives a much stiffer LE to performance boosting kites.
I am not a dealer, but one of my riding buddies is the local Ozone dealer and he also doesn't know of any plans to release Enduro in U-X Dacron.
@KPSS Used - I am in same situation like you: got an 11m EV5 last year and now ordered an U-X replacement :D Curious to see if AluulA improves this amazing kite, as neither Vortex, nor Evo D\Lab I have tried were better for me! My kite arrives in 2 weeks, so not much longer to wait to find out ;)

My 13m arrived yesterday, and our 10m demo and some stock arrived today. Very keen to test these and compare, already sold my 13M Enduro V5 standard which I loved and hope that the Ultra X version is even batterer!
Lucky you!
Looking forward to your first impressions!

Looks fantastic. Looking forward to your review.
Got a 14m coming for demo. Decided to take max aluula weightsaving. 14m ultra same weight as normal 10m or aluula 12m vortex and 20% lighter than zephyr x (2.88kg). Loved my 9/12m standard so far but some days just wanted a bit more. Selling my 17m so interested to see how it goes. Custom colour too so should look rad! Been stoked with my 10m Vortex and all other riders too, first aluula kite. Hope this is a step up as well. As far as launching, i do look after my kites. Use an anchor system instead of dragging if no-one is around, much better for your gear.

Well to say the weather up here has been a bit **** is an understatement! Late on Sunday arvo the SE kicked up to about 14-16knots, my downwinder mate chose to go with a zephyr V7 UX and a mako 150 (85kg) and I (71kg) went with the Enduro V5 13m in the pics above and the Ozone Infinity V3 1.48, I felt the wind was a bit light for my 22ltr surfboards.
Wind is side on at the start and becomes more onshore as you work up the beach, the new swell was just starting to send some bigger sets through at about 2M. The sea state was messy and the only chance to boost was to line up a small ramp in the gutter where the water was a bit smoother for landing.
The kite blew me away from the time I got it out of the bag (its so light), we had a Harlem 9m Thrive in the shop just before I left to drive home and it weighed in at about 2.3kg and the Enduro UX 13M weighs less at about 2.2kg. The kite handles and feels like a 10-11m kite, turns very fast and I had it on the fast turn rear setting and the wave front bridle setting. Can't say much about drift because the conditions were not right for wave riding and I was on a big TT anyway.
Easy to boost and loop even on a 13M, the kite flies fast and builds apparent wind and power quickly. Didn't crash so can't comment on relaunch but it self launches just like any other LEI. I have relaunched the standard construction Enduro V5 13m and its easy, so I expect the UX version will be as easy too.
The kite will be in Sydney from the 12th to the 24th of this month and is available for demo to experienced riders.
Thank you for sharing your experience @KPSS Used! Looks like you had a good introduction to the Ev5 UX :) Does it feel nimbler than the standard Ev5? At my 71kg 11m is my biggest kite for 12-20knots, so I hope it will stay in the air and have better low-end than the normal Ev5. I will get any moment and will chime back.

Yeah Zlatko it is definitely more lively to fly. Much quicker to react to bar inputs, definitely tighter turns and flys faster too, I had the standard construction EV5 before this one and it was the performance of the standard that led me to order the UX version. We are identical in weight. For years I always had a zephyr for low winds but at my weight it was easy to get overpowered even though the zephyr has a large wind range I don't like flying big kites depowered. So I ordered a 15m Vortex a while ago to replace the zephyr and I have not lost any bottom end at all. Have not tried the EV5 UX on a surfboard yet, but I did use the standard EV5 several times and really liked it for low wind wave riding.
I'm confident you will be really impressed with your purchase!
Thanks, @KPSS Used! My standard Ev5 11m is the best Enduro for TT riding that I have tried to date! I kinda feel that my 9m Ev4 is better for surfboard/wave but it might be due to its smaller size. If Ev5 UX has jump ability and hang time closer to Vortex, while still keeping the smoother feel of standard Ev5 - I will be really happy! Plus I am sure it will have slightly better light wind usability just because of its lighter weight.
