Looking at the ocean rodeo rise. after any feed back on these kites and how they compare to the switchblade thanks
hilly has an entire quiver for the surf and i think blaster has a similar number for surf/flat.
I have demo the 6m and it flies very smoothly, a bit small, then again it is a 6m.
Hear the 8m and 10m and stonking, well worth a test flight.
Have a look at www.seabreeze.com.au/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=32506&SearchTerms=rise

Good kites.
6m not really too small I am 110kg and love it 25knots plus on a surfboard, they are very grunty for their size.
I have 6, 8 and 10 love them tuff as to.
Cheers Andrew
Awsome kite, mate just got a 12m. upwind from arond 14kts to 30kts. then 30kts starts getting overpowered.
Have been riding SB2 10m all last summer and just get Venturi 08 8m. Did not try it properly on water but snow. Very quick in window as well as in turns compare to SB2 (mind the size different). No bar pressure at all. I wore out my palms struggling on SB. As to position of the kite I try to feel it on the central lines pull direction.
Sits very forward on riding and very easy unhooked. Constant and solid power on loops and quickly get up after. On shorter lines even faster. Very different kite as of SB, very C-like
I like raily on SB more when the kite is parked because of feel of power on bar yet always on maximum trimming. Venturi needs more wind or do it on loop but start at right time - it is very quick.
Jumps are easy and soft landings despite of the small size.
The weird is the struts are too thick and the back lines too slacken. Yet fully controllable. Relounch is a bit longer then SB but still confident. Self landing handle is of use also. QR might be more reliable and easy to use. Don't like the depower throw. The bar system looks handmade. I like Override on SB more.
Bulletproof construction.
If you do not like the throw on the depower just set the adjustable stopper to your preferred length.
By handmade do you mean simple and easy to use - KISS principle.
I like the bar
