I had a chance to ride someone else's 12 metre 08 Vegas today and this is what I thought

wind: 18-24 kts, Gusty and I was lit on my 10 meter 07 vegas before I tried it.

Kite, was on medium to high depower and I am pretty sure on slow turning mode, bar is smaller and more comfy than 07, kite is far more stable and doesn't "flutter" almost at all when highly depowered, even though the wind was up around 24kts and im only 75 kgs. jumps were Huge, kite held it's shape perfectly and was actually very comfy for me to ride even though I would rather be on a 10 or 9 in those winds,

didn't try unhooking at all, depower cleat is about half as big and no problems at all with the kite or any of the gear when I tried it and the quick release at the chickenloop has also changed aswell. Stopper ball is much more usable if you like to ease the bar to the stopper as kites pull is more predictable even thought the winds were up and down quite a lot, meaning you don't get the normal yank the 07 model gave when the wind picked up

1 more thing, the kite seemed to sit above your hear a lot steadier ie not fall to one side, and require minimal bar inputs when standing on the beach... I for sure will be getting 1.

We have been royally ****t over by the factory 3 times now. But the bars are offically on their way now with express UPS. I am expecting them to arrive either tonight or tomorrow morning into the country, so it will be a matter of how quickly they clear customs. Hoping to have them here Thursday, most stores will have them Friday on the easy coast. I will express freight bars to W.A. so they might get them Monday-Tues. Worst case will be one day later.

Just to clarify so you all understand, the problem was not with North Kiteboarding international or with Windgenuity, the production factory took it upon them selves to ignore shipment priorities and sent out shipments in any order, massively effecting us. But all fixed now!

On Behalf of Windgenuity and North Kiteboarding, sorry for the delay.

Regards,

JB

Thanks JB.

I will wait on the pony express to get it up to me. Sometimes it sucks living in the sticks.
