My Comments:
Hi guys, I'm a beginner to intermediate rider progressing quickly, looking for a board to help me to the next step. I took out a jamie the other day and really liked it, what other boards should i keep an eye out for and what size? I ride mainly at a surf beach but it never gets big and in winter il be in flat water i also weigh 105kg. can anyone help?
Check out the the Shinn Gintronic I just ordered the 136 yesterday. In NSW Alliance gear have these boards! also check out the Shinn Monk if you liked the jamie!
here is the link http://www.shinnworld.com/site/boards/board/340/The+Monk.htm
I would reccomend 135x44 monk if you are 105! the shinn sizes just get wider not longer!
But as always try before you buy!
I really liked the 132 Jamie as well but ended up buying a 135 Xenon Laluz. Can't go wrong with either really.
Hi ThomasD
Im 85Kg and bought the 2011 Jaime 135 a few monthas ago. I love the board, good pop, soaks up the chop (easy on the knees and feet) and cruises upwind. At your weight you would need to get the next size up.
The only complaint I initially had - it seemed a little short for a 135. Off the beach in choppy conditions, the nose tended to dig in occasionally. The demo board had a wide stance setup, so the sales person in the shop reduced this a little and after the second session it didnt seem a problem. (I think it was a combination of adjusting the stance and slightly different technique from my previous board, 08FLX 135)
Anyway I am very happy with it, whether in the surf or on the flat![]()
Another one to consider would be the Nobile 50/50, I havnt ridden one but it gets good reviews.

I don't get it Thomas?
You rode it and liked it so just run with that. You don't really think you will get objective unbiased suggestions here do you?
If you get a chance to try other boards that is your best bet.
