Hey,

I've been kiting for just over 2 years now. And have been using a 05 136 Misfit the whole time. Im 95kg and use a 12m Helix 99% of the time. I spend most of my time in the waves or rough water trying most tricks that people try.

My question for people out there is, what they think of the new Lunacy from Slingshot. I have found that the Misfit i have been using seems to struggle in lighter winds and having size 12 feet i find that they catch on waves when riding heel side. I straight away thought that i need a longer board, but am now thinking that i may just need a wider board and i have been thinking of the new Lunacy. But the fact that the biggest it comes in is a 129 seems like a much smaller board. I don't really want a light wind board i just want a better board that will suit me 90% of the time if that makes sense.

Any advice or opions on what the board is like or weather it is the wrong choice for me would be great. Also any other ideas too would be great.

Thanks in advance

Dan

heard a rumour that for next season lunacy will be avalible in bigger sizes, but the current 129 rides far bigger then it's length indicates, I know of guys 100kg who ride it and love it. I'm 75 size 10 foot..

I tired the Lunacy and it's an awesome board but with size 13 feet I had the same problem. With my big feet I can't ride anything smaller than a 42cm width without my feet catching.

I ride a 135x44cm now and find it perfect for my big feet and 90kgs in all conditions.
