G'day all,
I have very narrow feet and the current straps and pads I have (Wainman Joke) even when they are tightened as much as possible and while wearing booties allow my feet to pop out. This is very frustraing when trying to jump, deal with chop or get any speed up.
There was a post before about narrow straps, I cannot re-post on it but its worth asking: does anyone know of a particular make of pad and strap that can fit a very narrow foot? Any help appreciated, cheers.
+1 for Entity straps, Syncs break too easily although are super comfortable.
Entity are available with two pad sizes and width is fully adjustable.
I am a size 11 and have a size small pair of Cab Syncs. Laced them up as tight as I can and they are still VERY loose. A little bit firm around the arch, but really open up especially around and over the toe, and I have got some pretty big ole toes. Any tips?? I find them really uncomfortable (comparing to Ocean Rodeo, LF luxuries and SS bolt ons)??
Hi Meatpie
Got the same problems got long skinny feet and when i was first learning back rolls could never keep the damn board on my feet, kept shooting off, tried a few different boards and straps including cabrinhas synch foot straps (bloody comfy but still same problem). So needed another option last few seasons have been wearing dakine heel straps, Best thing i could of done, Only problem is sometimes coming down hard in a crash and one foot comes out completley while the other foot stays in the board (end up in a wierd contorted mess), touch wood so far havent twisted my ankle but then again doesnt happen very often!!
Thanks for the advice guys,
I ended up getting a pair of North Entity straps. Have tried them once and i am very happy so far - yesterday I managed to get them so tight my foot was going to sleep and I had to loosen them off so, that has to be a good sign. With the amount of adjustments you can make not only width ways but laterally as well, I would be surprised if there was a foot they couldnt fit. The little toe bar helps as well, as does the wet grip of the pad surface itself.
I was also lucky enough to get the large pads for my long foot but small straps so if you can head to your local north dealer and ask nicely, they might be able to swap them over for you. (cheers marv/rachel)
Pretty glad I can jump now and not flick the board off my feet!!
