Ok. So I'm a beginner but no novice/imbecile with a kite. Based in Perth and weighing in at a massive 77 odd kilos, I can look after myself. Typical wind range here is 15 to 20 knots.
After using the trainer kite, watching the vids, and a few lessons I can't wait to launch into a new kite. Now that the new season gear is out, I'm looking to buy some 2011 stock at a discount.
I'm tossing up between Naish Park/Bolt or Airush Lithium/Varial. I'll be getting a 9 or 10m.
Interested in thoughts opinions between the two makers, preferably from someone who had tried both.
i dunno the air rush kites but you cant go past a park. get a 10m.
I was looking at the 10 park for a mate last week at kiteaddiction and i think they were going for $1400 but i rekon you could squeeze Dan tomorrow for a good deal :)
Lithium is a friendly kite that you can use past beginner level. Go for a 10m at your size/wind range.
Cool.
I'm really just shooting for the best deal I can get out of those two kites. I'm hoping that the Park should be an intermediate type kite. I don't want to be restricted by a complete novices kite.
The plan is it should last the next 3 or 4 years of kiting.
a park is a kite for beginners through to advanced. weather you are just trying to boost or stick a handle pass/surf waves this kite will last you until you want a new kite
