Spill the beans I know some guys in Wa have ridden these kites, what are they like, comparisons between reo or Neos would be good ????
Demoed the 8m wow
it was a powerful little kite. would have just been touching on 20knots personally I feel this kite is better suited to freerideing.
it turned quite quick when the kite was loaded, as soon as I went downwind it wouldn't respond to steering input, just sat there and dropped back in the window.
Relaunch was fine.
It pulled me off the board a few times through the window from the power and lift it creates.
I tested this kite strapless with 20m lines, might be different on that monstrosity of a bar they call the mission control (rip cpr bar)
i ended up with a v4 reo 8
Haha yeah I didn't like the look of that bar either, but there new bar looks cool.......
liquidforcekites.com
Really..... Interesting do tell?, I thought there was a bit much going on with the old Bar, but thought the mission looked sleak and simple
I demo the kite 12 and 14 meter wow 2017. Lots of power and turned a lot quicker than a NEO 2015. I demo the wow, sst waves religion and naish slash kite on the same day and wind speed. the wind was light. The wow has a lot more power of all the kites I flew on that day.The religon RRD kite also has the same power. The only problem I found in the two hours I flew the kite is the line tangled when I self launch. The same problem I had with the NRG liquid force kites. I self launch everyday with NEO, RIde and REOs kites and the back lines don't get tangle. I will buy a used one and keep testing the kite pm waves. cheers
simple
good grip
good swivel
very durable

As for the wow as a wave kite, i dont belive it is a very good dedicated wave kite more of a freeride kite
as it doesnt turn when it counts
THere is good reason that so many people fly REO's
