I would like to know if someone has already tested the LF Twin Tip and the Kite Fish, and can tell me which board would give my quiver a better low end capability.
I know that the Kite fish has the fin and strap option butt I´m very interested in the light wind performance.
Thank you for your help.
My bad is the LF TwinSkim (not twin tip) VS the LF kite fish.
Wich one could be considered as a better option for light wind conditions.
I had a go with the Fish with pretty light and it goes fast but really heavy so maybe there's a better thing out there. Haven't tried the TwinSkim so can't say, but my lightwind choice is any $50 crappy second hand surfboard, works great! ![]()
a few of us in cairns have gone with skims , well finned skims . they have a fairly flat rocker and get going in not much ( if your kite can fly its enough but a bit more is better) and a sharp edge that cuts down on drag . we were on north skimfishes but have switched to nobile skim waves , they're much better in sloppy waves (thats all we get) than the norths although the norths go upwind a little earlier . cross a skim with a surfboard and thats what they look like . they don't make them any more but the infinitys looks prety much the same . may or may not suit your local conditions if you have decent clean waves go a surfboard
