I have been riding the 9 and 7 for a month or two now and i am pretty stoked about them ay. The 9 is the perfect speed for freestyle, not too fast not too slow, good solid pull in the loops, perfect amount of bar pressure imo.

The bar: the bar i love because its nice and thick which makes it easy to grip and grab during passes etc, the bar is only 43cm long which is sweet as its nice n smal and out of the way. i HATE big bars with passion they are sooo frikin anoying!

The kites: the construction of the kites have been beefed up alot since last year, the stitching is reinforces, double stitching on the seams etc bumper guards n all the lil bits to make a nice package.

Flight:

12 is mint for light wind wakestyle! i was lit in 15 knots with enough power to do most wakestyle tricks, the loop speed is very goood aswell so when learning new tricks involving loops this kite is a good start.

the 9 is by far my overall favourite, fast when you want it slow wen u dont. great kite to learn on, with the biger bar throw its forgiving when you stuff up! loops are solid, freestyle is solid.. the only thing i noticed is this isnt really a boosting kite in lighter winds.. but in strong winds it can boost pretty big. i think the havoc would do better in the boosting department over all.

the 7 is like a kite on drugs. its stupidly fast! you can still freestyle on it you just got to make sure u have good control!.. the loops are stupidly insane and fun! the kites back above u before you even take of!! jj. but seriously this kite is sooo much fun! in the surf i foudn it was really good aswell as you can whip it around heaps and it had a very smooth power delivery so you never got ripped of ur edge.

oh to add on.

the 7 i find you need to come in fast for decent pop with the centre line running between your index and middle fingers to keep it steady, you can come in fast and pop n then you wont feel as much pull so you can go for passes etc. just be prepared for the loop when you dont grab the bar in the centre! you need a good 24 knots to be powered on the 7 where as on the 9 you can get away in about 17 knots and 12 your comfortably powered and upwinding pretty well in 15.
