Well having been on holiday for the past month and having to spend the whole time off the water due to the discovery of a melanoma in my calf, I at last got on the water again, I have just had a day of enlightenment, 17 knots averaged for the session, Best Cabo 9m and a standard Firewire 5'11 Vanguard, to say I am stoked is an understatement, as most already know the Cabo is a superb wave kite, this years model being lighter only improves on its previously good performance, combine this with a Vanguard which is fast and agile was probably the best strapless session I have had to date. I just need a day of off shores now to give this thing a surf, despite their looks they really do perform, making sections without using the kite was easy, to pump the board to speed was easy and is this thing fast!! Loving it and maybe at last really going to enjoy some strapless riding, sorry another kook losing their board in the break, getting in the way!:-) Life's good!
