I have a prolimit waist harness and find that it rides up all the time and gets very uncomfortable.
i would like to know what everyone out there thinks of waist verses seat and comfortable brands .
Did have a Prolimit seat harness; found it quite comfortable but would always end up injuring 'myself' whilst boosting.
Now have an '07 Mystic Warrior waist. Can only say that now it's bed in after about 7-8 sessions it's the ducks nuts! I tend to ride with it a little looser than i should so i accept that it wriggles up maybe an inch every half hour. Just a matter of dropping in the water for 10 seconds and shuffling it back down.
I'm just getting my gf kiting and she fits the Mystic Warrior as well. Due to hips she wears it a little higher than i do but still finds it quite comfortable.
I tried out a s....t load of harnesses and chose the prolimit waist harness again.
They all ride up to a certain extent. If you tend to fly your kite high a lot, as in noob, dont get a waist harness.

Give the LF boardshorts a try - I went through a few seat and waist harnesses and I found these to hit the nail on the head... still heaps of freedom with them and just really comfortable...
The new 2008 mystic firestarters are nhitting the shops next week get into your local and check them out very stylish and feel super comy, no riding up..
I got a 2007 dark rider mystic brand new for $180 and its awesome! just make sure its done up tight!
I have recently been riding the Mystic Firestarter Harness. Found it to be really good. No Rash, super comfy and supportive. Have had no problems with it riding up.
Has a quick release leash attachment point and knife also! About time someone got it right!
$280 seem totally reasonable to me when you consider how much we pay for a lot of the other gear.
The harness is the best value in kiting equipment.
We probably take it for granted.
My mystic warrior fits so well i dont even know it is there.
Just dont wear it without a rashie or wettie. 1 -2 days is all it takes before your flesh starts disappearing and once it has started even if you wear a rashie after it will take weeks to heal and leaves a scar.
