First of all, what sorts of dramas?
The First Argo, the valve tube between the LE and strut decided to come off (first run on the kite) as it had no cable tie securing the ends to each of the bladders. (and for the first and last time in my life I hadn't closed the clamp, resulting in a completely deflated kite) It was also a kite that 'should not have come to me'

Second Argo, two minutes out of the pack it decided to deflate, the LE bladder had a moderate leak in the cuff. Chris offered to supply a new bladder, but as this was the second thing, I decided I wanted to return the kite (lengthy process). I had adopted a two strike process as I had a huge bad run with another kite brand that suffered in the quality department.
I did like the speed and boosting capability of the Argo, but in saying that my new 2012 Wainman Smoke is the same if not better and IMO Griffen products lack quality and attention to detail.

Second, what level was he?
Intermediate

Is it just me or you r full of BS?

I know I am a beginner and had nothing but awesome times with the newest Argo. Yes, it's awesome value for money. What more do you want? Hands free relaunch, huge wind range, massive depower, fast turning (for its size). I would really like to meet your mate, I am pretty sure he could use some friendly advice on how to kitesurf.

As a beginner Mike I don't understand how you could give me some friendly advice on how to kitesurf...

Cheers
Brent

Thanks,
Mike

Now thats the type of real reveiw I like to read about any brand.
An average joe punter telling his experience with what ever brand.
Not the "our kites never have faults, better than all other manufactures, fly in 3knots of wind...bla bla bla.
If you want to read a "manufactures reveiw" you just need to look at their website.but they all say they are the best

All the brands have had faults and problems, its good to hear what they are before spending your hard earned coin.
What also makes the choice on what to buy is whether the faults on a new kite are delt with a replacement kite straight away or you get sent a band aid to fix it yourself.

If you read the posts, the brand bashing is only done by lotowind SWITCH (team?) rider and his mates probably, only about 4 users doing there best to slander a few topics. They got red thumbed trying to railroad the topics, so started this one.

Sure he has only done a few SWITCH posts because they where quickly deleted, probably why he is so pissed.

lotowind are SWITCH going bankrupt? I heard they are going bankrupt because they are desperate to sell there kites every time I go to facebook?

Lotowind, if you have a SWITCH kite and get a bladder problem? can you call the local distributor or designer? or do you have to post your kite back to another country?
