Hi Everyone! This post is in regards to the GoPro camera you may have seen on Seabreeze lately. I've recently bought one and find the quality to be good and where you can place and take this thing, to be really good also.
However the reason behind this post is to do with some negative things about this camera.
after about the first couple of time you use it with the water housing you begin to notice a gold tinge on the corners and sides of the camera. At first you try and rub it off, thinking you've put something on it, however it doesn't rub off. As the camera is made from a kind of aluminum the housing rubs on the camera when used in high vibration activity ie Kiteboarding and it starts to take it's toll on the outer appearance of the camera. Secondly, after about a month i've began to notice no some blue streaking on the outside of the camera too :( I must note now to everyone that i take extreme care with my camera and have it always secured in glass cleaning cloth bags to keep it away from scratching, sand and anything else.
Like the glod tinge mentioned before this bluish colour will also NOT rub off !

I've got a GoPro that I've used for track days, etc, with the suction cup mount for the car and now want to also adapt it for kiting (the camera, not the mount). Mind you I've only just started kiting recently so I won't be catching any amazing moves yet!
How do you attach your camera? The latest Kiteboard mag had a basic setup to place it on your front lines but i'd like to have one looking down from the kite. I assume if it's attached to the bridle it's going to affect the handling of the kite?
