I've had my 5'4" VG for about a year and stoked with it. Had never ridden strapless before and have not looked back, straps are all wrong for a SB unless you're doing rotations etc (not that I'll ever be there). Tried 6 different strapped boards before and couldn't get comfortable in Metro slop as stance is too far back & boards too 'corky' the VG cuts through chop like a TT if you centre your stance more.

96kg and very happy with the 5'4" as keeps going on lighter days.

Love it as a quad though use thruster for downwinders, quad better for upwind - make sure you get really small fins (s or grom) if you're going to ride quad.
Just changed to some small Scarfini and has made a huge difference. Upwind is insane as one tack out and you're back in the lineup on the way in.
Tried F6, then F4 and all too big. Get a decent set of small quads and you'll love it! Bigger fins will leave you frustrated unless you're riding thruster but think with the wide tail quad is way better, faster and so smooth!
