Very impressed by the new slingshot 2008 fuel range, a big change from the 07 model. the kites feel much more stable, for example feels easier to keep the kite on the edge of the window for handle pass tricks, and not have to worry about it. and they also produce alot more power during the turns, like kiteloops, which isn't unusual considering ruben lenten help develop the kites! overall great kite, ultimate kiteloop kite and excellent for freestyle manuvers.
What is the windrange like?Similar to 07 or improved even more at the low end? What size did you test and what was the wind like?
I've been riding the 11m, it has a lot better low end than the 07 11m, and still depowers nicely in 20 knots. it definately has a bigger wind range that you can ride in.
same kite basically they have just slackenend the fifth so its more grunty and turns slower. Pull some fifth in, same kite.
