Thumbs Up

Got one quick session on Tribal 15 at Pt danger, Torquay.

I was supposed to be giving demos but wind was to high for punters to be game enough. All other kites were in the 9-10m range, that were being used. And very well powered.

So what Idiot would set up a 15m kite in obviously small kite conditions. I would have been perfectly happy on my 8.5matrix.

But had to get kite home to importers ASAP so this was the one and only chance.

So the short answer is. I was having a ball. sure I was overpowered and had the depower strap nearly allthe way in but still was happy jumping and carving waves, even bottom turning down the line.

This kite reminds me of my Airblast 10 (13.6m) and has that speed in turns and across the window etc.

As for all the techo stuff about bar pressure etc. didn't notice didn't care.

I can see this kite being nice to around 22kts and working from 12kts for me at 95kg 125cm board. then I know 22kts on an 11m impact is plenty good fun. that should get me a 2 kite quiver to cover 12 to 35kts.

best winds
