Right boys and girls its that time of year again! Just sold my 10 Dos as a favour to the dealer so now i need to replace my 10 and 7 dos quiver with the bandit 3.......I live in Hong Kong so have a 15m bandit 1 for light wind and that does the job perfectly . I obviously leave that tent at home when i travel and found the 10 and 7 dos covered nearly all the conditions ive found myself in.
I weigh about 90kgs and after reading that the 3 has a little less low end im thinking that i need to go with the 11 and 8m this year ..... I kite in Vietnam , Philippines , Mauritius and a lot in Cape Town ....... im a little concerned that the 8m is going to be a little big for anything over 35 knts.
Everybody was unbelievably helpful when i was having this dilemma last year so that why im back! Thanks for any help in advance!
I allso heard that the B3 didnt have the low end grunt of the Dos but after ridding a 9m in various conditions from 10-25kts i would say thats rubish they have a lot faster turning speed without being twitchy. and accelerate super fast, so in the light stuff you may need to just fly it a little to get that extra speed your looking fore, you wont find much differance between the 7-8m in the topend both will handle it well but if your more comfortable on a 7 definatly get one.
The lower bottom end isnt enougth to go up a whole kite size. I personaly have gone up a size though as i was a little under powered last year and wanted slightly more again this year for ridding with bindings.
