My Comments: The EH Ovando 11m is the ultimate lightwindmachine, used the kite in marginal wind 10kn with the odd gust up to 13-15 kn. Would not have been bothered in the past to rig up my gear. Built quality you can see and feel, doubled up leading edge, fat strut bladders, only two pulleys on the kite and looks good. Relaunching no problem due to the new arrow shape of the kite. The bar has improved as well. New swivel system, alloy inserts, nice grip,short throw so everything is in easy reach. The kite turns quick with no loss of power thru the turns. Was able to go up wind with ease (board 128x38,5), looping is good fun. Jumps going to be massive on the Ovando . Expect to stay up in the air for longer. Summary : Very powerfull kite for its size, C -kite feeling with the benefits of a bridled kite. I keep u updated on the Ovando. Its going to be windy on the weekend. If anyone is keen to try the Ovando 11m ,i will be at Yorkeys Knob on the weekend.
