I bought the 5'3" and the 4th time using it in small surf I landed flat and it cracked 3 inches on the rail nearest my front foot. They will not warranty because they say I was "boosting." I have been boosting a naish 5'2" for more than 2 years and never had any problem with it. Needless to say I am disapointed that they can't develop a good waveboard you can jump.
why didn't you just lie like everyone else. Honestly I didn't jump my board, it was flat water in 10knots of wind, I farted and it just cracked, see, easy.
Surfboards are for surfing, twintips are for boosting.
Take it to your local shaper/fixer and get it glassed up,
Thanks
Matt
That's piss weak by Cabrinha. In the surf you land alot harder heading out with speed off the backs of waves than you would boosting unless you put your kite low when you jump but still it should be stronger than a twin tip.
did you stick the nose into the sand on landing or something ??
While i have to agree with Vishy, when riding waves it's difficult not to get some fairly big air when riding out through the surf and I'd expect any kiteboard built for the surf to be able to withstand a bit of a pounding.
I'd say that's piss weak on cabrinha's behalf not to come to the party though, and surprising as the s-quads are really heavily built compared to my older cabby 5'3" which gets a regular beating.
oh so we're all going to believe Mr One Post are we?
LOL
Don't drink Coke, I hurt my fingernail on a can the other day and they wont pay for a pedicure... ![]()
