I rode a Crazyfly Raptor 132 on flatwater and really liked it, it held a good edge and absorded the chop very well. I rode a 2007 underground FLX the same day and found that it went faster but the tail flex felt a bit "wobbly" when edging hard.
I am thinking of getting the Crazyfly and wanted to check what people who had one thought about the board especially wrt durability?
I have an underground mutant for the waves but want a twin tip for flat water and freestyle, but will probably take it in the waves sometimes.
Cheers

Hi Gav,
No problems with the strength and durability on these boards.
CrazyFly are the only ones left who are making full carbon fibre boards wraped around a full wood core.
This gives the boards a feel and strength on the water that is hard to match.
There are some boards out there which are better for hard core freestyle and offer more pop. But If want a board that works well in all conditions that still has good pop and works well in the surf and flat water the CrazyFly Raptor could be for you.
One of the main features that makes it ride so well in chop and the surf is the rounded rails, the rocker line and rounded tips.
So many twin tips are comming out now with squareish rails with sharp edges this is great in flat water and better for load and pop but not so good in the waves. Have you ever seen a surf board with square rails?
Never heard of a customer who is un-happy with their CrazyFly!
Broken boards never heard of them ethier!
Problem for me is they dont seam to wear out so its a long time between customers upgrading for a new one!
It shouldnt be to hard finding a CrazyFly dearler in you area.
Happy kiting
Luke
