Im looking at grabbing the 9m Slash.
Any one owned one of these, and can report on any issues positive or negative.
ie design issues, quality control, warranty claims etc etc Ive read last years post on the then brand new kites, just wondering how they've held up over time.

I did a review on the Crazy Fly Slash a while ago, after purchasing both the 9 and 7m. Link to my earlier review Here: www.seabreeze.com.au/forums/Kitesurfing/Review/CrazyFly-Slash-2011/

Well, I've spent the whole season on my Crazy Fly's and I'm still pumped with their performance and build quality. The 9m is definitely my favorite ride for freestyle or strapless surf but I can't go past the 7 for insane loops!!!!!

I would like a bit more low end in the 9 (mainly cause I don't want to ride anything bigger), but when it counts (when there's wind) these kites rock, and I still haven't found the top end of my 7m!@

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these kites! Ride one if you get the chance and make up your own mind.

I've been riding the crazy fly kites for about 5 months. I'm out at the beach every weekend and I have hand no issues with the quality of the kites and the bar, they are sturdy and hold up very well over time. I do a lot of freestyle and therefore my kite's hits the water a lot and still have no tears. The only issue I have had is when riding suicide for freestyle, the safety leash won't tolerate a great deal I have had mine snap before which was a worry. If you unhook a lot and plan to use the suicide mode I can email you a picture of what I have done to alter my leash so that it doesn't snap.

Hope this helps
