Have not seen much on here about the Core GTS2 apart from I think 1 review and what's on the internet.

Any one riding one ? whats your thoughts did they succeed at making a more freestyle orientated kite or not, cant say I have seen many on the beaches.

I have used The GT, GT1 and currently on the GTS2 (size 8 and 10) but only had a month in December to usethe GTS2 due to repeated clavicle breaks. I had one session on the 10 only with too little wind and a broken clavicle pin(I broke it 3 times cycling and not kiting)
I feel that these kites are the best kept secret in the industry, as you point out that there is very little info on the internet about them.
I cannot rate these kites as I only use Core kites, but can compare the various Core kites though. I use the GTS2 size 8 in about the same conditions as I used the GTS1 size 9, but the new GTS2 seems to not have such a good high end as the previous GTS1 model, as the kite starts to "yellyfish" when overpowered (over 30 knots on the size 8), low end is about the same.
The turning ability of the GTS2 is smoother and faster than the previous models, but you need to keep the kite active(moving around) in the air to get out the most from it.
I mainly waveride strapped(95 kg), with some boosts and loops thrown in and would recommend the GTS2 over the GTS1 as an slightly more exciting/lively version when used within it's optimum wind range.
It is less of a cross-ride kite than advertised to the previous version, propably the C-genes) but exells in what I need it to do...
