Anyone else hate these ???
If so, can you recommend what to replace them with ?
If not, wanna buy a set (used once) ?
I loved mine... until they spontaneously and repeatedly exploded.
Now riding LF Lace Comp's. Pads are better, straps aren't quite as good... but atleast they haven't exploded in a shower of plastic yet.
Try using them a couple more times and don't do them up tight. Just have them so you can put your feet in them with just a bit of a wiggle. They feel strange at first if you have come from old school foot straps, but once you get used to them there is no turning back. Otherwise sell them and try Slingshots, LF's or one the many other styles available now.
I agree with Kitecroc. Give them another go. My feet cramped for a couple of sessions, then all good. I would not be able to go back to normal footstraps now.
^^ I thought the same with the original Syncs. The tongue would move around and then the adjustment would change. Tried the new ones and they were better but still hated them.
I've now put my old underground straps onto the sync pad and they are the best pad/strap combo I've come across. Lots of other brands were good but because I've got a size 13 hoof, the pads are usually too small.
And whats the go with everyone putting bloody laces on their straps now. For Fsake, its just a gimmik and in my opinion is worse. BRING BACK VELCRO.
Damn cabrinha and their lace-up gimmik. Can't wait for it to end and standard velcro straps are back again.

This style of pad is a gimmik and if you dont adjust them every time you foot comes out of the strap to really hold your foot in then they are actualy just a fixed strap just like vercro.IMO
If you want to ride bindings get some. And crank them up tight so you cant slide your feet out in a crash. Then you are locked in.
Backless bindings..lol....
