Hi,

I believe Flip Tips are great, especially in waves. :-)
I had the RRD Venom (version1) and it was a pleasure to ride, even in bigger (2-3m) waves.
But for my liking (and maybe weight -88kg) it wasn't was early enough in gliding and could have been a bit better in low winds. I think the Rocker was a bit too much.

No we see some more boards coming with Flip Tips. The Cabrinha Chopstick got a pretty good review here, the RRD venom is out in a new version.

Has anyone a comparison between these Flip Tip Boards?

thanks and regards

the nice thing about them is - you don't get caught and in normal riding they don't disturb you.

the Brunotti Pro X has also those Flips. But that seems to me more like a freestyle board. Is that any good in waves? How would that comrpare to a RRD Venom or Cabrinha Chopstick?
