Has anyone heard of 'Shapes' kiteboards?
I was sent one from Europe, apparently 'Rick Shapes' is a respected shaper in Spain.
Anybody know of anything about this brand and its boards?

I was sent a 128 Shapes board.

Cheers

Yeh I have had a couple of these boards, hmmmm almost 10 years ago now.
Shapes were the first company to make a snowboard style laminate board in a radical wide square shape.
The boards were fairly flat rockered and were upwind/pop specialists machines. They were built to stay in the competition zone. Alvaro and another gun named Jose were the head line acts for this brand. We worked together in Wipika.

You wont go wrong with this board. The boards generally aren't the best for beginners and mainly focused on high end Freestyle.

You'll find a very similar competitive board made by www.cardboarding.com.au
