Yes, the winds were onshore SW at a local Adelaide beach called Seacliff, but what I would really like to try is a true light directional board, but not something as radical as a race board. Would you or anybody else have any suggestions as to what would be a good LW board that is easy to jibe, can handle big floaty jumps, because this kite will stay in the air on anything above 6kts? I think that sub 10kts, the board will become the most important component, when using a kite like this.
ive been riding a north nugget for a while now all strapless tho great little board .. also been having alot of fun on a skim .. not sure about a light wind board with straps maybe ask how the mako king fairs ???
cheers, I may ask for a go on the big switch as I own an element... Anyhow what about the strut less kite? It's been much maligned on here but the 17M looks like the key at 3.5kgs and quite cheaper than most at 1100$ naked...
in 1 eppo, getting a bit too regular for my liking, just been working out a hardcore core strength program to try and help the old spine, failing that ill have to go under the knife i think, wind over the next few days thats the killer
