It took over 2 months for me to get a new set of lines from M8, and that was after only 6 weeks of me getting the kite.(3 weeks of ridding, 3 weeks of work). At that time most of the stitching issues and material issues were already there. I think it was december when i sent some pics to them, got a bar with no lines about 4 weeks latter, then some lines around 4+ weeks after that, then the kite issues were dealt with maybe April?

I got looked after by my local kite shop, really, really well, with kites, bars, lines what ever else i needed while i was having issues.

So your local supported you while the importer got your replacements ?

I got to use some of his personal gear while i waited. Tried some different kites etc, he did lend me a bar for a fair while as well. Good support from them.

Guessing the other pic was just a prototype? This looks more like the main stream new deltas coming out??

Thats sexier than that other squared off proto..looks like the Gastra Jeckyl in shape. Hopefully its as good as all the wank! I am still on 08s 09s and they are gettin tired...need new kites to thrash. Have seen the RPM around looks like a super smooth allrounder any one had good surfs on it?

I am a big fan of the 1 & Dos for surfing, so will be looking at the revolt if the 4 is not that way inclined. Maybe with the Bandit upgraded bar. Revolt is a terrible name for a kite. Has anyone had some more experience with revolt surfing?? Is it geared slower for beginners etc or heavy with too much dacron??

It looks like the wing tips have the tuning points, does anyone know if these will be on the kites that we will see?

Any pics of the bar?

Nothing of the bar as yet they are using B3 bars, looks like they have replaced the fabric handels with moulded rubber/plastic.

Although not the most high tec it is still the cleanest bar setup I would have liked to have seen a below the bar cleat but thinking about it I guess that is just another bit to get in the way if you have the trim all the way in..........

It's good to see they kept the ups from last year, that was the best mod on the B3. Even the sui leash attachment is the same, simple.

I'm still not convinced that little handle on the safety will make a lot of difference, most people hated it because it was velcro. I liked it because it is simple, and it works every time. Everyone that knocks it seems to like the North or cab style QR's but you cant please everyone.

I personaly prefer the above the bar depower, i flew SS kites for quite a while and didn't really like it just to cluttered, i know there latest version is a lot better but the bar still wont be as smooth as the fone with the single line going through the bar.

Cant wait to see the moulded bar, i hope it is a little thicker with some good grip, like the lenten pro bar, I really liked that bar

last years model got to perth by about christmas eve, so Wait Awhile yet.

I think there is lots of B3's going cheap because of the distributers delay in missing the start of last season.

i think it was you not the distributor that was slow last year, i had my 9m in september, but the bigger kites rocked up about 4 weeks later. Most of the time the first shipment of bandits are sold out before they hit the dock so even selecting colours is hard you get what your given. You must have been weighting on the second shipment. If you are after one this year it would pay to put your order in early to your kit shop so you don't miss out, there expected in early october.

There should be some demos floating around soon though

I will be up in the windy north WA early october on another brand, cant wait.

btw, i think the three struts will definitely make them lighter and drift better in the surf, dont know what it will do for the freestyle side of it
