Quick reply....

They all fly nice, you won't pick the difference For a while being a noob.

The North Evo will be the most duarble and prob the most stable.

The Bandits are a sweet kite once you're used to them.

The liquid Force will tear/weather the quickest. But not as fast as a Cabrinha.

The Envy flies very nice and quite similar to the Bandit. It has been our best seller to date, especially to kids, girls, wakestyle and wave riders. It is extremely responsive and top quality built. It generates good power and speed. Goes faster and faster as it rides. With only 3 struts & one pump system you have the least pumping up to do! The CPR bar is the simplest, cleanest and best bar I have come across of all brands to date.

As for built quality, touchwood we have not had one single warranty claim since it came out so kitenutt's comments are totally non-factual and untrue.

Visit your local dealer to have a demo, compare the built quality and you will see it is top. 99% of the people who came to demo one bought one right away. It is like the Waroo when it first came out except it is built to last. We have nicknamed it the 'Wow' kite of 2010. Got to try it. You will be glad you did.

Another point to note when buying gear - IMO it is most important when buying gear especially for someone starting, that you have backup support and service. The real service starts after you bought the equipment. Believe me you will have tons of questions you want to ask and lots of help you would want too. Hmm.... forgot how to connect the lines, is my kite pumped up hard enough, launching, landing, my kite doesnt seem to fly right, how do I trim my kite correctly etc etc. Buying it from your local dealer will give you the assurity that when something goes wrong they will get you back on the also water in the shortest possible time. They should also continue to give you advice and assistance, on land and on water, to help you enjoy sport to the max. Our students/customers become our peers after they had their lessons/bought the equipment from us. We constantly give them free advice on land and on water, help them ride better, teach them how to take to the next level, and invite them to our weekly coast trips/safari trips. Can life be better than that?

Thanks for the personal message re my post Surfconnect.... Things must be tough if you have to pimp this hard to sell and bully people for not recommending your products.

and yes I do own a brand new Cabrinha.

if u bought a lf from 3 years ago maybe... Since o9 lf has been =/> north and other leading brands in construction....

Bandits are ok at performance but will hold you back depending what discipline ur into

havnt flown evo but it seems pretty good in the sky..

Envy is excellent performance wise and construction wise... You wont be dissapointed

Waxy not on a bandit, that does'nt sound right. Sounds like the bandits get worse every year. I like my 2008 9m better than my 12 dos. But I'm happy with em. Dont get to use them as much in Adel compared to Whyalla.

I tryed nearly every kite on market in my local area, trying to decide on right kite, including bandit, evo, and envy.

I liked all three kites but....

Envy 12m is the kite I now ride and have never looked back. Super fast and doesnt back stall.
Becouse its only 3 strut It flys in nearly no wind (and still is super stabe), so when winds light I can use the land board, if the tide is out far enough, while I wait for wind to pick up.

Strongly recommend to any rider level

what im saying is lf is no longer a weaker quality kite like they were in earlier years
The 08 was a big improvement nd equal to many leading brands and 09 is even better...

No need to get ur fanny in a rash.

There is a lot of small things that they have changed that make the kite great to use and one of the best for unhooking, and like i said previously i do ride a lot but wouldnt expect that after just 2 months the kite and lines seem to have more wear in them than i have ever experienced in a hole season.

depends on what sort of conditions your going to be sailing in?
what size board?
your weight?
style of riding .freeride ,waves , freestyle?
Me personally cos i'm a big bloke I would go the Bandits for the sheer power,Evo is a good alround kite and will have the best build quality and bar set up of those 3 ,LF i'm not real big on ,in the sky the ENVY looks like a flying shopping bag but who knows plenty of people are raving about them ,I do wonder though if these people have ever riden any other brands? There are plenty of other great kites and brands out there just do some research and talk to some more experianced people.

I agree, I'm on the Rev2's and Furia's and had a quick run on the 2010 Havoc. Extremely smooth and fast and pretty well made. The depower was a little on/off but thats more an issue of getting used to a kite than an actual problem. The only issue I could see is the depower rope wear issue which the Slingshot has as well on their 2010's and thats considered to be one of the most well constructed kites on the market.

Most of the 2009 and 2010 kites I've seen are well constructed but there will almost be a small percentage of every brand with manufacturing errors. I haven't been able to identify any major manufacturing strengths in any of the major brands that make them stand out much more than others. Some have better quality or neater bars but thats about it and even brands like Cabrinha have been subject to manufacturing faults that resulted in fixes being applied to kites. The only area I still see some brands go on the cheap is bridle thickness.

These days its more a case of above the bar vs below the bar depower, 5th line vs 4 line, push vs pull QR, wearable rope vs sticky plastic coating etc.

As a sport kiting is only a baby so all brands are going to evolve in performance and quality. The most inportant thing i found when starting out was to go to a shop with good knowledge on kiting that isnt going to spin you a yarn just to sell gear. If they are good and you get to know them they will let you demo anything in the shop before you buy. Whats good for one may not be for you, also some brand have a much better after sales service than others so dont be afraid to ask the questions. I had a shocking run with my first kite a Hovoc, didnt like it or the place i bought it cause it wasnt right for me and they told me what they needed to to off load a kite but then i have heard the complete opposite.

I'd rather get a tarp from supercheap and tie some strings to it.

But LF is better than Crapena.

But to tell the truth. There are a lot of good delta kites out at the moment Best Kahoona, Fone bandit 3, North EVO, LF envy, Nobile n62, Wainman Rabit series, Core. Plus a few more that are around at the moment.

The biggest part in choosing one is to look for one that suits your style and direction that you are heading in the sport. They all perform differently and suit diferent styles of riding. So you need to work out if you want a small grunty kite thats a little twitchy or a smooth flowing kite or a kite that suits surf best, a bit of a allrounder or one that turns on a dime easy relaunch. etc. All these kites are diferent and will suit different people try as many as you can and buy the one you are most comfortable on.

The deltas realy rule when it comes to grunt, depower, relaunch and ability to handle gusts well. I love the performance of the bandit this year it is such a smooth kite compared to bandits of the past.
