Looks like some new sizes have been added to the range and is that splitstrut on that kite??

Yeh I dont think it is splitstrut. It just looks like it with the black material where the struts run.
Splitstrut is what sligshot used on all their fuels until this years 09 ones, and the link had it too. Its hard to explain, but the canopy is stitched to the sides of the struts, instead of ontop of the struts. I think it was supposed to keep better tension of the canopy.
I noticed on the other pictures on that link that the bridle has changed slightly with an addittion of more pulleys and a y bridle that connects to the LE. So the kite will have 4 pulleys now.
well if thats the case, then yeah it probably does have splitstrut because the 08 one does, I think f-one calls it fusion-strut in the marketing talk
No it's not splitstrut but they have reinforced the strut connection to lessen the chance of canopy seperation. Most of the strut now has only one parralell seamon the canopy side now.
There is a small y added to the end of the top bridle. This is to spread the load more evenly and add more stability to the kite. There are still only 2 pulleys on the kite though.
are the bandits going to even number sized kites for 2009 models?
I thought I might be able to get away with a 9 only. now its maybe a 8 and 12 now? or just a 10. omg decisions, 
I hate that they've done that, the 13m bandit is the ideal size for me, when i buy a new one, i will have to lose some top end or lose some bottom end. They should hav kept the sizing.
bad dog bandits rock im going out to ride now,nice colours on the new green machine.You can ride the nine in 17 18 knots and im 90 k i dont know what you gunna do with the 14 16 maybe take off.
When are these little beauties going to be available? My 11m Bandit was stolen in March - could do with a new 12m....
