was it the board with/without the inserts?
where you riding it strapped or unstrapped?
i tried a wam last year, imo you can't compare the two.
the wam felt like a barge, didnt have a progressive feel (felt very bouncy/skittish) to it through the turn and sat too high in the water for my liking.
like how all the 'composite tech' style of marketed kite-surf boards feel.
just my take on that style of board though...
what are you gonna get next? another Wam?![]()
It was the strapless model.Great board.Ive got my local surfboard shaper on the scene .He is going to make the same board but a lot stronger.I agree about your comments regarding the wam.But I don't have the the money to keep replacing snapped boards.Production boards like the wam and etc are bloody bomb proof. So I have decided to try another glassed board.see how it goes and if I do the same then I will go back to a production board.
throw a pic up when you get the new board...
i agree, boards are fricken pricey and you nearly cry when ya break one ya love. ![]()
what sort of lay-up you gonna go, PU or EPS?
cheers man.![]()
