Sorry this isn't a review- just a question about these kites, figured it was better here then the general forum.
I am getting back into kiting after taking over 2 years off. I was wondering whether their claims of a 10m matching the pull of a 12m is true. I am up in Cairns, where due to the warm air 15knts doesn't push as hard as it would down south. I weighing up this compared to a 11m Cab switchy.
I am 94kg and ride surfboards.

You asking about the older or 2014 model. Very different kites. Yes to the older models kind of, close but not quite), no to the newer model (the pro).

I have just returned back to Qld after 20 years in Wa , have gone over to BWS Pro model ,im only 80 kg and was riding my 10meter on a Crazy fly raptor carbon, in 15 to 18knts at margate beach the other day getting up wind easy, kite handled great in the light stuff and have ridden it up to 25kts on a surf board with out to much stress.
Have been kiteing for 10 years and would say the BWS Pro isnt as grunty in the bottom end and the BWS Noise but would be similiar to most elevens out there,a really great surf kite 
(best out there ) and very user freindly when you want it to be ,build quality and bar are both above average,i ride surf mainly but as i live in brisbane have been doing some freeride and the BWS Pro does preform reasonably well contraray to most reviews from other none BWS riders.

Really i haven't read a bad review about the pros? If so, they need to get their heads checked, they are a fine wave kite indeed. Right up there.
do you have to qualify as a pro before you can ride a BWS Noise Pro?
or do they have amateur or clubman kites in the range for the less skilled riders...???
I fly a BWS Noise 10 2013, I'm 95kg on a 143cm twin tip. I am a beginner and can get up and ride in 16knt+
I love this kite. I switched from a FOne Revolt 13m 2008. I found that kite to be difficult to learn on despite what I have been told by the kite school that sold it to me. I also found the size intimidating when starting out. The BWS Noise 10m is less intimidating ;)
I tried a switchblade too but when I tried the Noise, I bought it the next day.
Cheers guys. I would just be getting the BWS Noise as I am only chasing a second hand kite. Thanks for the replies- its hard to find a review which isn't just a straight out plug for the brand (or any other brand for that matter).
I'm 100kg and a 2012 12m and 8m kite with a surf board cover all conditions for me.
The 2014 BWS PRO models in my opinion have a little less grunt than the 2013 Noise..In saying that the Drift and lighter Bar Pressure have greatly improved.. My belief is if your searching for a BWS PRO kite - you should prob go for the 12m - I kite the 10mtr Pro starting at around 15 to 17knots- (im 96kg) - anything less and I have to work the kite a little harder-- (obviously it also depends on board selection)
If your looking around the 15knot mark the new 2014 12mtr PRO will work better for you - A few other brands also offer great 12mtr kites for this wind range.

I weigh in at a dainty 110kg and I am nicely powered on my 2012 10m noise at 20knts. I mostly ride my 6 foot groveller style surfboard. I'd say the 2012 10m is kinda like most other brands 11m kites. Hope this helps.

i have never ridden a BWS kite, so I don't really have a great deal to add re the kites...
you're right, i have been on the reo's for the past two years. i rate them, but don't blab on about them at every chance.
haha, and check the '2014 reo' thread. no post in there from me, guess why... "cause i haven't ridden one"...
when i demo another kite, it is usually not a long enough ride to provide an in-depth type of review.
sure, i'll add comments on various different kites I've ridden when i see fit. 
my comment was tongue-in-cheek at the marketing schemes some companies apply to their products/brand.
some people must be like "it's the pro model, must be the best"... otherwise they wouldn't use that strategy, and call it the noise 2 (or whatever)...
please, don't think that i was bagging the kite, it was just a laugh at the way they (and other brands) market their gear.

BWS was famous for the additional free surface you got on your kite: the actual size 15% bigger than the sizing on the kite.
