Which kite has better hangtime? I have owned Bandits in the past and they are big boosting kites, Fone has really nicely finished off kites, I really like the new bar setup with LF but reviews have indicated that the Envy is not really a big boosting kite?

What is the general life span of the MAXFLOW valve anyone had any problems with them wear and tear....?

I ride general freeride, wake and unkooked....... ;)

The boost is fine in the Envy's top end, you just gotta really swing the kite. I don't love this kite for transitioning tho. As for the max-flow, if you manage to break the cap free from the tether, it is extremely difficult, next to impossible to reattach. I do like the bottom end of the 12m and its characteristics un-hooked.

This years B5 is pretty damn good, I've gone for the 11 after having a B4 12 last season and I'm stoked with it. Its boosts equally as well and is responsive and light. As usual the build quality is as good as it gets and the bar is clean and simple.
I reckon you should ride both but I personally think the two kites are not even in the same class.

We have had a few demo days with the Envy and most of the guys have come back saying it jumps big, you just have to be agressive with it. So throw it over your head.

Also when unhooked it luffs well so wake style is great. Easy to learn new pass tricks and it has a good range with grunt.

They also have a good turning speed and good depower so you can throw them around. All round nice kite.

I have had the kites out on demo and have no problems with the valve's easy to use etc, so looks like they will last as long or longer then other brands.

+1 for B5

I have a 9m and it's the best kite I have used.

I have 8-10-12 B5 and really like'em
I have not tried that Edge, but I sincerely doubt it is possible to boost significantly better than the B5.
I come from C kites (hadlow pros). Using that C kite aggressive jumping technique on the B5 almost scared me the first time. Never gone that high before

Looking forward to some good old schooling on those kites. Must learn that darkslide
