I currently have 2005 Yargas (love my 9m - only so so with my 13m)and was keen to check out the 2007 hybrid style but it seems Best have dumped this and reverted to a classic C shape again for 2008.
Wassasoop? Was the 2007 Yarga a complete dud?

I want to know what the 07 Yargas are like.
I like the specs - 1 pump, setup as 5th line or SLE but how good/bad are they?
I see them pretty cheap or for sale 2nd hand, but I want to know if they're sh...t
i tryed 1 at nationals and i really like it it was a 7 i also tryed a 11 previously and it wasnt as good as the 7 but the 7 was soo good unhooked
07 yargas were good, they were nice and forgiving for freestyle etc but not the highest performance c kite out there.. they went back to FULL square tip C kites for 08 for the competition level riders out there wanting a good competition kite, waroos etc just werent up to scratch in that department hence alvaro riding 06 yarga pros last year.
Yep Alvaro has put a lot of inout into the 08 Yarga and It looks sick. The 07 Yargas were also great but think the 08 will have the edge on any high end freestyle kite on the market.2 of the Best team riders in oz have chosen to upgrade their 07 Yarga's and I will be riding one as well. They will be available from next month. Should check out the new bar. Looks unreal, everything ive always wanted in a bar.

Load Flex LE Seam

Double reinforced back line attachments:
We know that you are going to ride this kite hard, so we've strengthened every contact area on the kite. The rear line attachment webbing is given its own pocketed sleeve in the wingtips then finished off with two layers of reinforced stitching.
Trailing edge battens:
A flutter free canopy generates smoother airflow for faster turning so the Yarga receives our trailing edge battens as standard.
Standard Inflation System:

Lightweight Mark cloth provides durable upper canopy protection covering the canopy sections directly above the struts.
Dacron Wing Tip Panels:
Multi-layer Dacron wingtip panels distribute turning forces for unmatched responsiveness and enable self-launching without risk of damage. Flying line contact points are shielded with an additional layer of ABC guard cloth.
