Hey Guys,

Have anybody tried out the NEW Express kites yet, especially as a light wind kite for unstrapped surfing.

Any size recommendations for rider around 90kg on a surfboard, looking for fast turning, big time apparent wind generation and forward in the window flying.

I really enjoyed the NEW OS kites but if the Express is lighter and has a lower end range it would be good.

Maybe the tax man will have a gift in the post for me.

Cheers
Rich

Shouldn't you be changing sh!tty nappies?

Perhaps a kite with a pocket for baby wipes?

Yes me too
I ride a couple of OS's and the Express hadn't made it to Geraldton last time i was there, so did not get a chance to try one
Must be someone who can give us a comparison between the OS and Express

For me the biggest difference is the turning speed. I haven't tried anything but the 10m but have found this to be a really nice kite for Perth seabreezes. I like a stable kite that I can rely on when unhooking to be in a similar position before and after a trick. Below is a short little video of me riding the 10m...

and a picture

Compared to the OS 9m it is slower and more stable, I would say if your the type of rider who likes fast twitchy kites on the smaller end of the scale the OS would be more to your fitting. If your like me and you enjoy a stable steady pull with a kite that will just stay put (without being excessively sluggish in lighter conditions with a better low end than the OS) then the express is definately more suited to you.

PM me for a demo....
