Has anyone ridden the converse 6'4
I,m sick of trashing surfboards and the converse is the biggest epoxy board on the market.
I,m keen to get some feed back off anyone.

I have the 6'0. Great board and seems indestructible.

I will admit that I haven't tested it in big surf or had too many hard landings on yet, so it's limited feedback from that point of view. I have heard other good reports in that respect though.

hi guys here is a review i did for the english forum-
looks like being a killer summer over there this year, think im def gonna have to be back next year!

After riding the new converse 6'4 for the last few weeks here are my thoughts on how she goes-

being a 6'4 pin tail and being 18 3/4 wide i was thinking that maybe it would feel too big!
the first thing you notice is that you don't notice it being a big board, as it feels so in control with no bounce at all over the chop
riding it mostly strapless and in both onshore and cross shore wind from 15-30 knts and up to 5ft waves i found the 6'4 to track beautifully holding its line well and with its rocker loving the cross off steeper waves giving a locked in feeling. the thing you really notice is the ability to use the board to send the kite forward in the window stalling on the face whilst still holding your line in the pocket.
the straps are well placed allowing for strapped riding although being a true surfboard it is not recommed for jumping!

as both a surf and kite board its not super loose off the top but still loose enough to get the fins out with the right skills, yet what you do notice is the speed it generates and the lively feel, as well as the ease it catches waves (being flytech construction equates to more volume than normal surfboards)

to sum up;
Great for the larger rider 80kg+ as an all round surf and kite board which performs well in onshore but prefers steeper waves or those that love to do speed turns where it holds its line beautifully

perfect as a one board quiver for surf and kiting and would be ideal for bali/sumbawa region or anywhere alowing you to get out on your 7m Vapor from 15-35knts
enjoy

after nore use and recently using both the 6'4 and 6'0 in cape verde in some heavy stuff can tell you these boards are pretty tough
