Looking to pick up a light wind kite to add to the rest for this season.

Looking at Core but interested in the airush offering as they feel like they have a solid line up this year especially the new Varial X .. I want to test now !.

Whats peoples take on the Lithium Zero any one have any good links to any reviews I had a look but didn't find much.

I'm interested as well...looks like it could be an absolute light wind weapon.

I will watch it tonight and post a translated summary of the video.

The review was not very favourable. However, if you are interested in strutless kites and especially as lighwind option you should look at the Boardriding Maui Cloud. There is a super long thread on Kiteforum.com about it.
The whole strutless development was not dicussed much on this forum and when it was note very constructive.
I have a 6m and 17m Cloud next to my Naish Parks (2013). They have their very own characteristics and I like them a lot. The 17m is a great, fun, lightwind kite and the 6m is great in waves.
Standout features:
Power as a 2m bigger kite (so the 17m Cloud gets compared in power to a 19m Flysurfer Speed, my 6m has the power of an 8m strutted kite (and the wind range of an 8m kite, not a 6)
Extremely fast turning for its size/power

So a really light, playful thing.

The review of the Airush Zero did not reflect any these characteristics. But 3-strut kites are not all the same as well.

If someone says they are going fast in 6 knots and mean more than 15 knots, then I doubt it very much. That's 2.5 times the wind speed.

Maybe because of wind shear and faster winds higher up it is possible in very light winds to do more, but until someone proves that, I'll stick with the probability that the wind speed is probably closer to half the speed they are planing at.

Rode one in Thailand. Well, 2 actually - each time was different settings.

First time, I could hardly dive the kite for fear of folding the LE. Light, light wind so it was just mowing the lawn.

Next time, much longer attempt and different steering settings... and someone must have pumped it up properly

Builds apparent wind nicely once you're up, parked and moving but didn't seem to make a lot of power being worked - not a lot of static grunt.

If you're going out on raceboards or a Sector, I think you'll be happy but it didn't look like it jumped well and although it was quick in the turns, it didn't really do much. I'd stick with my Flite 17 cos it's much more fun and useful.

Bottom end that day between my Flite on 24m lines and the Lithium on 27 was not enough to make a difference to the walk back to my start point.
