Is anyone flying a generator ?
If so, can you rate it wind range compared to other aiursh kites ??
ie. at 72kgs my 10m vapor is in the pocket between 15 and 25 knotts.
(Please don't bother posting if you're just opinionating or reading from websites, i'm after first hand experience here).

Cheers.....

i weigh 68, i do not own the kites but get to fly them often thanks to hand outs from the loft... I would have to say that it depends on what board u ride i.e i usually ride them with a surfboard and can get going on the 9.5 in about 14 knots (im not no felix) and 7.5 in 16-18 knots but for a twin tip would need prob 16-18 knots(9.5) to 18-20 knots(7.5) to get comfortably moving...

the generators i find have prob the most depower of a c kite i have ever used and would easily get 25 knots out of the 9.5...

but they are at there prime in the waves with a surfboard so the lighter the wind the better. the low end of this kite really depends on ur ability to work it as all the power is generated when the kite is moving...

I can get going in around 12 knots with the 7.5, but all I ride is surfboards (usually 6'0 to 6'4"). 12-15 is a bit of a slugfest, but 15 and up is good. The 5.5 and 7.5 make up my whole quiver which is pretty damn handy for travel as well. I weigh about 75-80kg depending on how many burgers and beers I had for lunch. A real surprising gem and at the top of the heap of the kites out there at the moment especially if you are into unhooked wave riding.
