looking into the new 2014 varial x? anyone got any good reviews? 2013 model maybe?
whats the better kite? the lithium or the varial x?
want to get into unhooking/looping but still be able to boost hard and good free ride kite still.

Definitely go for the Varial X if you want to unhook and do looping. The Lithiums are nice but the Varial X turns much faster and a lot better to handle unhooked. Nice big jumps with lofty landings too. I have owned the Lithiums but now replaced all of them with Varials.
Haven't tried to 2014 range yet though.
Like the look of the 2014 varial x too, will be adding it to the demo list. Anyone actually ridden one yet?
Own the 2013 lithium and have just tested the 2014 varrial X, am looking now to purchase two of them! had a good session non a 10M VX with gusts far in excess of where i should have been riding it, loops very quick, the lithium is a fantastic kite in its own right but have started to find it a bit "heavy" from loops and working towards unhooking. the VX is very quick (first impression) it shoots through the wind window amazingly and has a different sort of pull to the lithium. I found the VX pulls in a more abrupt sharper way throwing from lower in the window and more height but lacks the loft of the lithium.
Just my experience from a few hours on the VX and a season on the lithiums.
the 2014 has gone to 3 struts compared to 5 and the wing tips are a lot more squarer 2014 will be completely different

Ozone edge? Haven't even looked at that one yet.
