Has anyone ever tried the bar of a 9m Switchblade (48cm, I think) on a 12m Switchblade (normally 55cm, I think)?

I'm playing with the idea of replacing my 14m 2007 Havoc, and a 12m Switchblade with the bar of my 9m 2010 Switchblade would be the cheapest option.

But would that be fun? Or would I be yanking the bar all the time? Or are there any other problems I haven't even thought of yet?

I often use a smaller bar to learn tricks as it won't move the kite as quickly. Make sure you check your line lengths though as the SB's behave like dogs when oversheeted!

Will be fine do it all the time(45cm bar on my 12). Your kite will turn slower which can be a ball ache when under powered. But off the hook it will park nice and will be less twitchy after a doggie pass.

Thanks guys!

Now I just need to figure out whether I want to go with this option or buy a complete North Rebel 11m, which I kind of enjoyed playing with the other day. I think I prefer the Rebel, but I'd have to spend quite a bit more money that I don't have.
